Description
The USS Biddle (CG 34) was a guided missile cruiser commissioned in 1967. Originally laid down as DLG 34, it was launched in 1965 and redesignated as CG 34 in 1975. Serving until its decommissioning in 1993, the USS Biddle's motto was "Deus Clypeus Meus" (God is my shield). After being sold for scrap, its dismantling was completed on January 2, 2002. A key part of U.S. Navy history.
