The USS Porter (DDG 78) is an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, built by Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Named after Commodore David Porter and his son Vice Admiral David Dixon Porter, the USS Porter supports global security operations.
